WW2 Reenactment
This picture is part of a set of pictures I took during the reenactment at VE-day in the Netherlands. While the date for the VE-day in Europe is set to May 8, the Netherlands was fully libertated at May 5. Even after 65 years this day is still a National Holiday and we celebrate the end of the German occupation which took place during 1940-1945. There are several groups of people that keep the memory of our liberators alive by reenactment, using authentic clothing, weapons and vehicles used by the Allied forces during the liberation of Europe.

About Me

I am an amateur photographer, trying to understand the wonderful world of photography. As such I love to take photographs and process them using a variety of tools.

By posting some of my work I hope others will enjoy these photographs as well. It also gives me the chance to receive some criticism, which in turn will make me a better photographer. I encourage you (my dear visitor) to leave your comments behind.

If you're interested in buying a print or use a photograph for (commercial) purposes, please contact me.
